When the Firmware versions are following conditions, it is not possible to update the equipment by yourself. In this case, please contact the authorized service center for the update.

[Detail]

1. Improvement of freeze function

Originally a temporarily black screen appeared during the transition from the moving picture to the still picture or vice versa. With this update, this black screen has been removed and the picture is switched without interruption. (3D display is excluded)

2. Improvement for lens adjustment usability with Web browser control and Geometry Manager Pro

Lens adjustment is done by PC with three buttons of　large, medium and small. The steps for each button are changed for usability.

3. Improvement of screen flicker with Interlace signal

During IP conversion, screen flicker might occur occasionally.

If "P in P" function has been already enabled, this setting will be disabled by this updating operation.
In this case, please set "BACKUP INPUT MODE" and "P in P" as below for the "P in P" function to be
enabled again.

Open [BACKUP INPUT MODE] menu in the following order.
[MAIN] > [DISPLAY OPTION] > [BACKUP INPUT SETTING] > [BACKUP INPUT MODE]
Set [BACKUP INPUT MODE] menu to [OFF].
Set [P in P] menu again.
